TALK-IT-OUT
Go through each main point and scripture from the message and use the corresponding questions in discussion with your group. Encourage your group to pull this post up on their own device to follow along.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
POINT 1: When facing challenges, you will never face anything God hasn’t already prepared you for.
Talk-it-Out: Share about a challenge you faced when you felt completely overwhelmed and under equipped.
1 Corinthians 10:13
There isn’t any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God who is faithful keeps His promise, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But, when you are tempted, He will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape.
POINT 2: When facing challenges, you will never face anything God hasn’t already EQUIPPED you for.
Talk-it-Out: How is God equipping you to overcome the challenges and temptations that used to trip you up?
POINT 3: Don’t try to control what you cannot control.
Isaiah 41:10 (MSG)
"I've picked you. I haven't dropped you. So, don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you."
Talk-it-Out: What are the things outside of your control that you find yourself trying to control?
POINT 4: Have the courage to trust God.

I repeat, be strong and brave (courageous.) Be not afraid and don’t panic, for I the Lord your God, am with you in all that you do.
Talk-it-Out: Do you have a hard time trusting either God or other people? Why or why not?
POINT 5: God created us so that we could heal ourselves. (physically, spiritually, and emotionally)
Talk-it-Out: What are you needing healing from today? (physically, spiritually, or emotionally)
WRITE-It-Out
Encourage your group to start writing things down. Do the following exercises:
- Do a SOAP devotion on Joshua 1. Read the SCRIPTURE. Write down at least one OBSERVATION, at least one APPLICATION for your life, and one PRAYER inspired by this scripture.
Live-It-Out
Encourage your group to start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
- Encourage someone this week that you know is facing a big challenge by reminding them that they are "made for this."
