Talk-it-Out: What are some of the positive words that have been spoken over you?

Talk-it-Out: How can you get better at speaking positive words over other people? Be specific.

POINT 2: YOUR SELF TALK IS A HABIT OF YOUR MIND THAT AUTOMATICALLY THINKS A CERTAIN WAY, HABITUALLY, UNTIL YOU RETRAIN IT.

Psalm 19:14 (ESV)
Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable . . .

1 Samuel 30:6 (KJV)

Proverbs 18:21 (NIV)

POINT 3: WHEN YOU UPGRADE THE WAY YOU TALK TO YOURSELF, YOU UPGRADE YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCE.

Talk-it-Out: Name one area of your life you want to see significant improvement over the next year.

Talk-it-Out: What self-talk do you need to practice in order to experience the significant improvement you desire?

WRITE-It-Out

Encourage your group to start writing things down. Do the following exercises:

  1. Do a SOAP devotion on Psalm 42. Read the SCRIPTURE. Write down at least one OBSERVATION, at least one APPLICATION for your life, and one PRAYER inspired by this scripture.

Live-It-Out

Encourage your group to start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  1. Practice the self-talk that you identified in the last Talk-it-Out question.
  2. Complete Growth Track. Every Saturday in Tacoma 6:00pm, and every Sunday at all of our campuses at 11:30am.
