Message Review and Discussion Questions

Point 1: We are not bystanders. We are participators in determining the possibilities of our lives.

Talk-it-Out: What are some things that you think are within your control? What are some things you think are in God's control?

Point 2: When we move internal boundaries, we create greater possibilities.

2 Corinthians 6: 11–13 (MSG)
“Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!”

Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us . . .”

Talk-it-Out: Have you become complacent with any area of your life?

Point 3: The reason for moving back the boundaries is to make room for all that God wants to do in our lives.

Psalm 81:10 (NLT)
“Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things.”

Matthew 9:29 (NIV)
“’According to your faith let it be done to you . . .’”

Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
“. . . is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . . .”

Talk-it-Out: Can you recall a time when God did more than you even asked for or imagined?

Examples of boundaries we can face:

  • Fear
  • Worry
  • Strife

  • Jealousy
  • Insecurity
  • Unforgiveness

Talk-it-Out: Out of the boundaries listed above, which one is currently affecting you?
